The Judaic studies program
at the Eötvös University welcomes you!
The Judaic studies minor program is offered by the
Department of Assyriology and Hebrew Studies of the
Faculty of Humanities of the
Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary.
It focuses on the past and present of Judaism, the history and culture of the Jewish people, and on the languages determining
this culture and religion. Our courses, student research opportunities,
other programs and community is open to everyone: to those enrolled in our program, and also to anyone informally interested.
